Delivery delayed...

... until next year. While there have been many on time deliveries of sports victories as of late, unfortunately, there have been some delays. One of those delayed deliveries is a Steds RecSports Baseball Championship win. Suffice it to say, the season had it ups and downs. Captained by senior and Mainer, Will Dieterich, the Steds squad first had to scramble to put together a uniform. A challenge? Indeed, since no one is producing a non-Chinese made baseball jersey these days. But necessity is the mother of invention is it not? Yes, it is, and a solution was found by using the Steds basic shirt given to all residents of the Hall at the start of the school year. Next, there were problems on the field with fundamentals, but these problems were not insurmountable, preventing them the boys of summer from making it to the playoffs because they made it there. And while the boys made a brief appearance, it was an appearance nevertheless. On the season, Steds sophomore and rising baseball star, Marshall Smith, stated, "Winning three games this season was a surreal experience. And Tommy Gallagher’s no hitter was definitely the highlight of my baseball career! Next year? Championship bound!"
