Patrons of the arts...

Arnold: Artistically gifted?

... dabble in the arts. Yes, the Gentlemen of St. Edward's have an appreciation of the arts and other refined things, but at the same, they are not afraid to pick up a brush, steady the hand, and have a go at creating art. At the helm of it all was iHAAC (in-Hall Academic and Arts Coordinator) Logan Arnold. A man of letters and an eye for the finer things of life, Arnold wanted to give his fellow Gentlemen an opportunity to experience being the artist. Inviting a graduate fine arts student, the Gentlemen learned the basic techniques of what has been described as one of the most difficult artistic expressions- watercolor. What masterpieces were created? Take a gander below. On the event, Arnold said, "Ars gratia artist... art for the sake art... and some of it is pretty good too!"
