We have a...

An exuberant Vogel in the stands

... win! Tonight, Notre Dame's Men's Hockey team defeated Michigan State at the Compton Family Ice Arena. The game was scoreless up until the third period when the Irish took advantage of a power play and scored the one and only goal of the game. Helping the Irish defeat the Spartans was none other than St. Edward's very own freshman, Alex Steeves, who saw a lot of ice time in the first and third periods. On seeing a fellow Stedsman play in the rink, Peter Vogel '12 said, "What a talented hockey player! I can't wait to see Steeves play in the Olympics!"

Steeves was playing for keeps...

...holding nothing back...

...for control of the puck...

...but number 57 wasn't playing all that nice...

...and had to take a time out as Steeves watches on.
