Breathtaking
... or painfully sublime? That is the question put residents about campus art. Is it painful, or is it sublime? Maybe, it is painfully sublime? Indeed, art is in the eye of the beholder, and with that being said, we asked LAST week, the beholder, John Lucciola, who shared this musings on Man with a Broken Kite. But THIS week, using the same piece of art, we approached a new beholder, another freshman, Patrick Magner. On this piece of art, Magner said, "Ah yes, Man with a Boomerang, is clearly a piece that reflects the struggle of the Australian people to spread their boomerangs the world across. Painfully sublime.”
