From highs...

Kirby: A Big Cat in the making?

... to lows. After the high from a win against the Big Cats in the St. Edward's Derby, the Steds A Team faced off against Keough Hall in another a late night game. As the game got underway, it was clear that it was going to be a close game, and indeed it was! At the end of the second half, it was all tied up 1-1. The game then went into a shootout, and as the case has been of late for all Steds sports teams, it didn't go our way. In the end, Steds lost on Keough's very last kick on goal. With the "golden goal," Keough won with a score of 2-1. On the heartbreaker of a loss, Christian Kirby, Steds sophomore, A Team player AND ND Soccer Club player, said, "My one goal last week highlights the difficulty of breaking down the Big Cats' defensive unit. I couldn't even score a sitter against them last week. After tonight's game, we all need to channel our 'inner-Big Cat' to make a respectable run at the championship."
