A special delivery for outside...
...made a visit to the 3rd floor of St. Ed's on Thursday night. Was it Santa Claus a little early? Was it Fr. John Jenkins? No. It was none of these persons. Matter of fact, it wasn't a person at all. Instead, Sam VandenHeuvel, Assistant Rector (above, right), found a bat resting on the floor in the hallway. Thanks to fast thinking, Sam covered the bat with a trash can, and later, with help from Fr. Ralph (above, left), the bat was relocated outside. Of the run in with the bat, Sam said, "I saw the same situation once on Macgyver. I knew what I had to do."
