A sublime triumph
...artis. Art for the sake of art is old saying. But, when you have a beautiful scene, like the Main Building, you cannot help but capture it through whatever means possible. That is what's Meg Fyan, a student at Xavier College Prep in Phoenix, Arizona, did when she captured this fall view of the Main Building with paint on canvas. On painting this sublime scene, Fyan said, "As Aristotle said, 'The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance.'"
