...away in a helicopter. Yes, Stedsman Brendon McCarthy '09, M.Ed. '11, training as a Navy pilot in Pensacola, Florida, recently passed his helicopter solo test. As you can tell from the picture, everything went well with a safe landing back at the base. On his solo, McCarthy said, "If you live, you pass." Congratulations!
