Out into the...

Steds Outdoorsmen: Taking a mini break from campus

... woods. Under the direction Joe Trzaska, Stedsmen went off into the wilds of Northern Indiana to commune with nature. Despite cloudy skies and the threat of rain, maybe even snow, the group traveled to Boot Lake, and once there, they hiked about, taking in fall colors, the fresh air, and vistas of the lake. Of course, communing with nature can take it out of you, and so, a late lunch was had on the return to campus. On the outdoor expedition,  Patrick Sansone, Steds sophomore, said, "The nature excursion was a wonderful way to yet again verify that the state of Indiana is indeed flat."
