Saturday squirrel.

Busy bees...

As our squirrels continue to a break, we have time to focus on others. Just outside the main door of Steds, and towards the Main Building, there is a very unique plant, a butterfly bush. Actually, there are three different butterfly bushes, each with its own color of flowers, and while there are three bushes, they actually look like one. But that's not the point. The point is the bushes attract, yes, butterflies, but also other insects, like bumblebees. Recently, not one but two bumblebees were spotted in one of the flowers collecting autumnal pollen. If you look closely, you can see the grains of pollen on the bees. On collecting pollen, the bee non-verbaled, "It's all mine."

... in three different bushes.
