Good night!

... from Notre Dame. With the fall semester now over, all students away, and the University on the cusp of closing for Christmas, this picture sums it all up so succinctly. Indeed, just as the day is over, so too the semester... and the year! Here's a sunset as seen from South Quad with snow all about and the Rockne Memorial Gymnasium in the background. Saturday Squirrel.

So lonely

And then there was silence. With the majority of students now home for Christmas Break, a silence has descending on campus. Others who have noticed this quiet about the quads have been our furry friends. This squirrel spotted by O'Shaughnessy Hall, as he gathered a nut for lunch, has also noticed the silence. On the quiet about campus, this squirrel non-verbaled, "Did I say something?"

Finals are...

Davey: Early bird gets the worm

... continuing and so are the study breaks. Yes! AGAIN, by executive order, President Ryan Davey has directed that everything been done to provide the Gentlemen a break from their studying. So, again, at 9PM, there was a study break held in the Flounge, where the Gentlemen took a break, enjoying food and camaraderie... and certainly, experienced a buoying of spirits. On the FIFTH and FINAL day of finals, the Gentlemen were treated to Chick Fil A breakfast. One gentleman who enjoyed the study break was Steds senior and resident Pennsylvanian, Jimmy Davey. On the having CFA for breakfast and being the first one in line, Davey said, "First one in, last one out!"

The BBQ is organized by many hands...

... continuing and so are the study breaks. Yes! AGAIN, by executive order, President Ryan Davey has directed that everything been done to provide the Gentlemen a break from their studying. So, again, at 9PM, there was a study break held in the Flounge, where the Gentlemen took a break, enjoying food and camaraderie... and certainly, experienced a buoying of spirits. On the fourth day of finals, the Gentlemen were treated to Mission BBQ and Insomnia Cookies. One gentleman who enjoyed the study break was Steds senior and resident Texan, Curtis Donovan. On the having Mission BBQ and enjoying the study breaks, Donovan said, "It may not be Texan, but it still hits the spot."

The pizza is organized...

... continuing and so are the study breaks. Yes! AGAIN, by executive order, President Ryan Davey has directed that everything been done to provide the Gentlemen a break from their studying. So, again, at 9PM, there was a study break held in the Flounge, where the Gentlemen took a break, enjoying food and camaraderie... and certainly, experienced a buoying of spirits. On the third day of finals, the Gentlemen were treated to Rocco's pizza and ice cream sandwiches. One gentleman who enjoyed the study break was Steds freshman and resident Minnesotan, Cody Kvarnlov. On the having Rocco's and enjoying the study breaks, Kvarnlov said, "There's A LOT of pizza here. I hope that there's some for breakfast tomorrow"
