It was a surprise....

Out with the old...

... to everyone. Yes, the yellow caution tape blocking off the beloved Flounge caught everyone by surprise. And if that wasn't enough of a surprise, then the ripping up of the carpet did. The Flounge carpet, made up of numbers of small squares, had become worn out and was even coming up in some places. So, it was time to do something which was to replace it with a new identical one... with a better floor adhesive of course.  On the new carpeting and adhesive, Fr. Ralph said, "It was all a surprise to me, but the finished product is what this old and storied hall and its Gentlemen need and deserve." 

... and in with the new!
