Hard times.
The recent heavy snows have made campus just a bit more difficult to navigate. The sidewalks are just a bit more slick. There are patches of ice here and there. These difficulties and more are really just inconveniences for most us, but for others campus friends, like our squirrels, well, there difficulties are not inconveniences at all... there are hazards. Recently, while trying to eke out a living, this squirrel, spotted on God Quad, ventured out his drey and onto the quad only to sink immediately in the foot and half plus of snow, leaving only his tail exposed. Thankfully, he was able to pull himself up and out. On the wintery conditions, this squirrel non-verbaled, "Make it stop. Please. Make it all stop."
