Clean up...

Erdman and Alvendia: Taking care of hot air

... Aisle Chapel. Yes, just before the Weary Traveler's Mass started, there was a mess in the Chapel of St. Edward and St. John needing immediate cleanup. Suffice it to say, Hall Sacristan and Marylander, Will Erdman jumped into action. What was the mess? A gold balloon. Somehow a gold balloon was hovering about the Chapel ceiling. Perhaps it was not a mess, but it was certainly a distraction. Pressing the Hall cantor, Isaiah Alvendia, into action, the two took down the balloon, which surprisingly put up a good fight. On taking down the flying distraction, Erdman said, "We quickly realized that the density of our bodies was greater than the air, and that the density of the helium balloon was less than air. It also didn’t help that we couldn’t jump that high. Luckily, with the help of a chair, we were able to reach the sky and clear the air for prayer."
