Dictyoptera mantodea
With our squirrels taking a break, we focus our attention on another campus neighbor. Recently, passing by the Presbytery, this neighbor, a praying mantis, was spotted on the wall. Easily spotted against a white wall, this ambush predator would be most difficult to spot in the wild. On being spotted, this mantis non-verbaled, "Scram! You're drawing too much attention."
