Classes are...

Tree one...

... over. Yes, classes are over, and students are now studying for their final exams. As the Stedsmen study, they study amid the aroma of fresh pine. That's right, fresh pine. This past weekend, with a lot help from Nate McKeon, Steds assistant rector, not one but two twelve foot Christmas trees were placed in the second floor Georgian Lounge. These beautiful trees were made even more beautiful as the Hall Government, at the direction of President Lynch, lead efforts to decorate them. Again, what was impossible become possible, and suddenly, there were not only beautiful trees but also the fresh scent of pine wafting about the lounge. And it goes without saying- but it's so true- fresh pine goes a long way in a male residence hall. On the Christmas trees in the Gregorian, Vince DiFilippo, Steds junior (pictured above in white), said, "After much anticipation and hard work, the Steds Christmas trees have returned. Actually, I’m not sure we have ever had live, 12 foot Christmas trees in St Edwards to add to the festivity in the Greg... but we do now."
