It's taken years, but thanks to work of many over the year, like John Wetzel and more recently Kyle Rubin, coupled with that of Brendan Moriarty, the Steds brand has been refined and been able to reach out beyond its old and storied hallways. Evidence of this was recently received when Dr. Kevin Sonn '09, Stedsman and native Washingtonian, was spotted exiting the NCAA game that Gonzaga taken down Creighton in the Round of 16. While he bleeds gold and blue, Sonn was pulling for his home state favorite while wearing his stylish and couture Steds face mask. A face mask for all seasons and all occasions, Sonn helped the Steds brand break into TV markets across the country as he was interviewed following the game. On his achievement, Dr. Sonn said, "While we all know Steds has become a global brand, it doesn’t hurt to reinforce our reach domestically from time to time.”
