Weighing in: McKeon and Cook
... stop! Yes, let the good times stop unless we all starting rolling about! Indeed, the times have been good over the Christmas Break with great home cooked meals and Christmas goodies. So good have the times been that, well, a few pounds have been racked up by our Stedsmen. Surprising? No not really. But what was surprising was the sudden weight loss by the Stedsmen when the they weighed themselves using the Hall's gym scale upon their return. Ten, even twenty, pounds appeared to evaporate into the thin air. Too good to be true? Yes. Sadly, the gym scale was malfunctioning. Thankfully, a new scale was procured, and well, the real damage of the break could be accurately assessed. On the new gym scale, Ben Cook, Steds senior and native Californian, said, "Finally, we can all see exactly how much Covid and Christmas weight we’ve gained. And it's conveniently located in the gym, where we can work to lose it” while Assistant Rector, Nate McKeon, shared, "Upon returning from a long, calorie-filled break, we all appreciate the new state of the art scale. It's a gentle reminder that we may, in fact, want to wear pants without an elastic waistband at some point this semester.”
