"What an honor to be part of the inaugural Gentlemen for Gentlemen! Beginning our evening with dinner and drinks at Traditions was the perfect way to reconnect with our fellow Steds alumni and set the scene for a truly unprecedented event. Upon my arrival to the Oak Room, I was buzzing with excitement to chat with some of the eager underclassmen interested in life as an Investment Banker. The ensuing two hours consisted of thoughtful questions and reflections on my career discernment process just a few years back.
After returning to my hotel room at the end of the evening, I reflected on the deeper importance of our St. Edward’s Hall community and this specific event. Although we as students may physically live in Steds for only 3-4 years, our community, friendship and most importantly, brotherhood, endures for eternity. I immediately thought of my two younger brothers who, despite not being Notre Dame students or pursuing the same career path as me, always serve as my source of inspiration to be as strong of a mentor as possible for them. Our lives have been transformed by our shared experiences in St. Edward’s Hall and we owe it to our amazing community to serve as big brothers to the next generation of Steds Gentlemen.
For Hall and King!"
