... threes. They really do. Gathering in Telly Savalas' hangout and America's playground of yesterday, Atlantic City, three Stedsmen, David Wilber, Sean McNichols, and Gavin Payne, all of the Class of 2009, gathered not for a gingerly walk on the boardwalk and salt water taffy but rather for go at the city's half Ironman competition. Yes, after a fair amount of discipline and training, this Steds trio swam, biked, and ran their way across the finish line, medaling for sure as well as completing their first half Ironman. Will this three amigos now try for a full Ironman? Who knows, but what we do know is that these three amigos are winners! On now being Iron(gentle)man, McNichols said, "Great things often come in threes. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God, Country, Notre Dame. Swim, Bike, Run.”

Everyone's favorite podcast, In the Red Room, takes a break and will return next week with great Steds stories and even a couple of laughs too.
