Fairchild and Steds: Winners

... stand out! While he often shuns attention and being in the lime light, Winston Fairchild, Steds freshman and avid runner, couldn't do that after a recent campus race. Why? Because Fairchild was the winner! Running in the Welsh Family 5K Memorial Color Run and Fundraiser for Leukemia Research, Fairchild, to cheers of the crowd, finished in first place. On winning the race, Fairchild said, "Although my legs were tired from racing two days before and O’Neill was putting up some solid competition, I knew I couldn't fail. I was representing Steds and had to bring home the victory.  Congrats to Michael from O’Neill on a great race and a big thanks to Welsh Fam for hosting.”
