... comes together, it's art. But when several designs come together, it's a masterpiece. That's certainly the case for Devin Crudele '20. Steds Apparel Commissioner for not one but two years, Crudele was responsible for designing an Hall apparel line that captured not only its gravitas but also its joie de vie. It was never an easy task, but this design genius never shrugged away from the challenge, producing four collections as well as a number of special individual pieces during his tenure. Recently, Crudele took some pieces from his personal Steds collection, amassed over the years, and well, did something that only a design genius could do. On taking his designs to the next level, Crudele stated, “After retirement from Apparel commissioner, I had been looking for a way to put my Steds gear to use. I finally sent them off to have a quilt made, and now, I will be staying warm the rest of winter... and looking fabulous too.”
