Closs connecting and crossing the "red
line," whatever that means these days....
...try, try again. That's what Dan Rish, Sted's senior and
former baseball coach, did last week. While glory evaded him on the baseball
field, Rish took his coaching techniques and player's skills to the whiffle
ball field. Of Coach Rish’s tutelage to get “The “Roofsitters” to the
quarterfinals as well as of his own walk-off single hit to allow Coach Rish to
score, Brian Closs said, “It was all for the kids.” Truer words could not have
been said.
Still, once again, failing to take glory from the whiffle ball
field, Coach Rish said, "I am now pursuing softball- to chase
the thrill of victory and drown the shame of defeat."
Good luck Coach Rish...good luck....
