What is he...

Hartz needs your help!

... hoping ND Day brings? With ND Day next week, the Gentlemen are much like children awaiting Christmas. It's true! ND Day is very much like Christmas and how well we do on that day determines what and what we cannot do as a Hall. Truth be told, funds raised on ND Day do a great deal for its residents. To see that, just browse the postings of this blog! So, again, the kids REALLY do need your help and $10 on Tuesday, April 23rd, and Wednesday, April 24th. But let's hear from the kids what they hope ND Day brings for this upcoming year. On ND Day hopes, Andrew Kolodychak, sophomore, Hall Vice President, and Erieite, said, “With the funds we get from ND day, I hope that we can host some more Hall centered events, like when we all come together to eat some good food and bond over something, whether it’s an away football game or an obscure holiday…and some new billiards equipment would be nice too.”

Remember, only YOU can make their hopes a reality!

I also hope to be able to burn off some calories from these community events by using our Steds gym, which is in desperate need of some upgrades and equipment replacements. Of course, none of this is possible without the funds from ND Day, and so any and all donations are be greatly appreciated by every single resident of the oldest and most storied residence hall on campus! For the kids!"

These activities not only enhance our Hall community but also create memorable experiences for all residents!"

Sunny and...

Cline combining...

... studying. That's right. At Steds, the order of the day has been and always will be to study, and that's exactly what this gentleman is doing, studying. BUT this senior knows that studying does not have to be completing divorced from relaxation and enjoyment. That's why Robert Cline took up a place in the St. Edward's Park, combining his desire to study something with sunshine. And this did not go unnoticed.  Cline's combining of work and pleasure also quickly brought out the younglings, the freshmen, who imitated their Hall elder and followed suit. On studying in the Park, Cline disclosed, "Studying in St. Edward's Park on a day such as today is repayment for months of dark and desolate winter. Vitamin D and the sights of passing Stedsmen in the Park provide the necessary motivation to churn through the last couple weeks of classes.”

Mom's Weekend...

Mom's Weekend: Strikes, spares and a lot of smiles!

... continued. Even though our special Mom's Weekend now come and gone, we still have the memories. Recently, a link was shared to all moms where they could download the professional photos taken of them, their sons, and friends. If you're a mom who attended, then look in your in-box! But there are many other photos that have been shared of this special weekend. One such photo was this one shared with by Anntheresa Buckendorf of her, other moms and their sons bowling at the local lanes, Strikes and Spares. On the time at the alley with her Stedman and his fellow Gentlemen, Anntheresa said, "Bowling keeps the minds of Stedsmen out of the gutter!"
