Spring cleaning in progress

... today. If you were looking to light a candle at the Grotto, then you would not have been able to. Why? Did it catch on fire again? No. The Grotto just needed some spring cleaning! Really. Leftover leaves from fall and detritus from winter left campus' place of prayer in need of some of real attention and love. So, the Grotto was closed yesterday morning for a thorough top to bottom cleaning. From the Grotto rocks rights down to the stone pavers, every inch of the Grotto was power washed, restoring it to a pristine condition. On the Grotto being cleaned, Fr. Ralph said, "You know, I wouldn't mind if these guys could swing by Steds... have a room or two that could use a good cleaning. Just saying."
