We may be...

Sexton and Cuccinelli: Legal and Christmas tree experts

... jumping the gun, but it had to be done. Yes, we got a Christmas tree for the Hall. With the assistance of Mace Sexton and Paul Cuccinelli, law students and Steds Assistant Rectors, a Christmas tree was secured from a local nursery, and while we could not find one that took full advantage of our Victorian ceiling, we got the best one. It is a fine addition to the Gregorian Lounge, and in the days to come, it will be enjoyed, named and feted, and of course, decorated. But there's a lot more than just selecting and placing a Christmas in a lounge because a tree requires attention, a great deal of attention. Enter Steds room 209. The residents of room 209 have graciously stepped forward in the care of the Hall tree, namely promising to water it daily. With that, even if it is a bit early, let Christmas cheer begin!

On being the caretakers of the Hall Christmas tree, room 209 shared, “It’s not what’s under the Christmas tree that matters, it’s who’s around it, and we in 209 promise to take great care of it so that every Stedsman can enter the Greg and be wrapped in the aromas of both hot chocolate coming from the coffee machine and fresh pine coming from the tree!”
