Steds Salon: Folgers at Four

... water coolers, but Steds has the Gregorian (Greg). On Fridays, that's the place to be to hear the latest happenings of the Hall and University, even the world. From last night's offering at the dining hall to the happenings from Hollywood, from who burnt the popcorn in the microwave in Flounge to thoughts on monetary policy and inflation, you can hear it all and more over coffee and doughnuts in the Greg at Folgers at Four. And as the new semester is underway, Folgers at Four is under way too. Hosted by Steds Director of Academic Discernment (D.A.D.), Eoghan Fay, the Gentlemen were treated to Krispy Kreme doughnuts, a choice between light and bold coffee by Amazon, and a healthy dose of free thought and opinion. On returning to the Hall after his European vacation called "study abroad" and enjoying his first Folgers of the semester, Graham Lorenz, junior and resident Omahan, shared, "Today, I was reminded of the inherent ability of Steds Gentlemen to gather in intelligent and civil discourse on the happenings across the world… Folgers is always a, truly, noble event."
