Native Californians are always caught off guard by their first winter. At first, the snow is pretty, but they soon learn that is a the harbinger of much misery and pain. Still, for those who are enduring “round two” of winter, coping techniques are in place so that when winter storm Linus dumped a substantial amount of snow on campus, this native Californian and Steds sophomore, Steven Mike, said, "My favorite activity to do in the snow is pretend that I'm actually someplace warm."
