And the winner is...



... the Steds Christmas tree! Located in the Gregorian Lounge of Notre Dame's oldest residence hall, this REAL Christmas tree, laden with ornaments of various sizes and colors, with an attractive tree skit underneath, brought Christmas cheer- and the scent of fresh pine- to all who passed through or stayed and studied. With everything placed with great attention and care, this tree, lovingly named "Tinny Timber," best embodied Christmas and its spirit. Merry Christmas!

On the twelfth day...

Haag: Adding his own touch

... of Christmas, my University gave to me... a Christmas tree at Smith Gym. Located in the Duncan Student Center, this Christmas tree, placed right as one entered the gym, was done in white and silver bulbs, with no wrapped gifts underneath, not a free weight or basketball, brought Christmas cheer to all who passed by to exercise. But with this being the twelfth day, which of the campus Christmas trees embodied Christmas? Merry Christmas! And the winner is...

The eleventh day...

Haag: Placing a star on top

... of Christmas, my University gave to me... a Christmas tree in the Stepan Hall of Chemistry. Located in the south lobby, this Christmas tree, festooned with a medley of ornaments and no wrapped gifts underneath, brought Christmas cheer to all who passed through the lobby and by the hall and its all glass lobby. But with ONE more days of Christmas, will this Christmas tree be the tree that embodies Christmas? We'll just have to see. Merry Christmas!

Located in the Great Hall of the the College of Arts and Letters, this Christmas tree, done with green and gold bulbs and gold ribbon, with no wrapped gifts underneath, brought Christmas cheer to all who passed by, making their way to class. But with TWO more days of Christmas, will this Christmas tree be the tree that embodies Christmas? We'll just have to see.  Merry Christmas!

Located in the LaFortune Center, this Christmas tree, done in green and red bulbs, with no wrapped gifts underneath, not even flex points, brought Christmas cheer to all who made an overpriced purchased at the market. But with THREE more days of Christmas, will this Christmas tree be the tree that embodies Christmas? We'll just have to see.  Merry Christmas!

Haag: Making a final adjustment 

... of Christmas, my University gave to me... a Christmas tree at University Relations. Located on the fourth floor of the Main Building, Christmas tree, located in the lobby, done in blue and silver bulbs, with presents wrapped with red and green bows, brought Christmas cheer to all who worked in this office. But with five more days of Christmas, will this Christmas tree be the tree that embodies Christmas? We'll just have to see.  Merry Christmas!
