A blast from...

All dressed up with some place to go...

...the past. Spring time brings spring flowers and spring fashions. Thanks to Jack Kill's great grandfather's scrapbook we have a glimpse of student life at Notre Dame in the early 1900's. With the Basilica in the back ground, these two students are taking a stroll on God Quad, but a question I have is "Where are they going all dressed up... class, a football game, Mass? I would want to know!"

Did you know...

Please, stay off the grass.

...that the Monday after Easter is called "Whit Monday?" Regardless of what it is called, the Gentlemen know it as a day off. Yes, the day after Easter, Whit Monday, is known as a day off from classes! Enjoy!

Happy Easter!

He is risen; He is truly risen!

Resurrexit sicut dixit... He has risen as he said! Here is a picture of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart resplendent in its Easter joy. Happy Easter to you and your families!

Saturday's Squirrel.

I am smiling!

Was it because of too having many walnuts this past winter or was it simply a bad "tail day", today's furry friend was a little shy about having a picture taken. Whatever the reason may have been, how could we ever turn away from a smile like this one?

Let the...

These cats are playing for keeps...and refunds.

...kids play! Yes, let the Sted's Big Cats soccer team play! Time after time, "sports bureaucrats" at RecSports have cancelled the Hall's soccer games. To date, only one game has been played- and that was a victory over Morrissey. Still, with so many games being cancelled the day of the game because of having no referees, no lines on the field, etc., it has been an emotional roller coaster for the pride. On what the pride was considering doing, Andrew Borchert said, "We're going to get the Hall a refund!"

Rancher Larry says...

But will he be getting an Apple watch?

...it's time for Easter. That's right. It's Easter Break time. As Stedsmen travel here and there for Easter, what will Rancher Larry be doing? On the Easter Break, Rancher Larry said, "This Easter I will be trekking back to the Land of Bison, Buffalo, New York. While we all will be celebrating and engaging in merry activities for Easter Sunday, my kinsfolk and I will be gearing up for the day after Easter- 'Dyngus Day.' It's going to be good old, clean family fun!"

March snows bring...

Spring has sprung.

...April flowers. Yes, there are signs that campus will soon be awash in colors as white crocuses are blooming around St. Joseph's Lake. Small as it is, this explosion of color will be a welcomed change to the drab browns of the dead grass and leafless trees. On spring flowers blooming, an unidentified Stedsman said, "Great, pollen and allergies."
