... may have snowed, but it's not a complete loss! Yes, the false prognostications of the weathermen as well as our hopes of snowless January with mild temps may ALL have been dashed with the recent snowfall, we do not have a complete loss at Notre Dame. Yes, even now, with everything covered in white and single digit, even sub-zero, wind chills, it is NOT a complete loss. How can that be? Because after the snow left, a new friend appeared! Yes, after the snow left, this friend, a snowman, appeared on the west side of La Fortune. How long will he stay? Who knows, but you know what, we're just glad he's here. On the appearance of this new friend, Fr. Ralph said, "We welcome this surprise wayfarer to campus, who lifts our spirits and warms our hearts, on these cold, cold days... and I think he's looking to move to St. Edward's Park. I would too!"
