... doing? A little late, yes, but a question we must ask nevertheless ask. Yes, what are our Stedsmen doing now that they no longer have classes to attend, papers to procrastinate writing, nor any thing else for that matter, especially if they have graduated?! Indeed, what are they doing this summer?! Well, some are busy at work, and that's certainly NOT what President Tommy Kelly '26 is doing... working. Tommy, joined by his dad and cousins, made their annual pilgrimage to Ireland to ascend Croagh Patrick in County Mayo. An annual climb for Tommy and his family, the climb is a place of pilgrimage as St. Patrick spent forty days at the top fasting and in prayer. Atop Croagh Patrick is a church, and on Reek Sunday, the last Sunday in July, thousands ascend the holy mountain. On reaching the top of Croagh Patrick, Kelly shared, "At the top of Croagh Patrick, two American priests celebrated Mass in the chapel. One of them happened to be a Notre Dame grad and former Zahm resident!"
