Last game...

Jack, Fr Ralph, and Brady: Irish eyes a smiling!

... of season at home. The Syracuse game marked the end of Notre Dame's football season at home, and while it was a late game, the weather was perfect. Really, it was... with full sun and temps in high 50's, if not just a bit higher. Everyone was there, especially our seniors and their parents, as they were marking the end of their four year football run. Indeed, it was a day of "last this, last that." Sad for sure, but what great fun at the same time. And in the midst of it all were the Barretts, Jack '20 and Brady '28, and of course, their parents were with them too. The Barretts made the trek from upstate New York to tailgate, re-establish friendships, and of course, see a win. On returning to campus, Maggie Barretts, Steds mom twice over, shared, “ If and when you utter something profound, WRITE it down!”... AND... “Every time I set foot on campus I feel energized by football, but Mom’s Weekend brings true champions to campus! I simply cannot wait to get back here again in the spring!”
